A Little About Me

Hi, I’m Briauna Hayden. I’m an artist from the wild and bustling metropolis of Pratt, Kansas. I got my Fine Arts degree from Fort Hays State University, because art something I love and was mildly good at.

My work is inspired by real life—specifically the quiet, peaceful parts I can actually process without losing my mind. Think nature, family, and those rare moments where no one is yelling and the lighting is just right.

I use art to document what I've witnessed in life and to steal those perfect moments I don't want to forget.

Watercolor and pencil are my go-to tools because they let me slow down and obsess over tiny details like a normal person (read: not normal at all). I paint with oils when I want to feel more like a professional artist.

I make art that helps me breathe, and I hope it does the same for other people—assuming they stop long enough to notice the little things, like light on leaves or their kid sitting still for 30 seconds.
